Selamat hari raya idul fitri 1430h

Wow ….. it is this time of the year…. LEBARAN HOLIDAY is around the corner…

Time really flies….

Lebaran is one of the biggest celebration celebrates by every individual in Indonesia.

Some are celebrating their religious beliefs while others celebrating the LONGEST holiday period.

1 month before this holiday, fasting for the Muslims starts and this is known to cleanse their soul and body.

This brings festive moods for the whole month as people are looking forward to the big D-day.

People starts to buy new clothes for celebrating the winning against all devils, relatives and business partners starts

sending each other Lebaran/ Hari Raya hampers/ parcels and you can see dates everywhere in every supermarket.

Nearing the big day which is next week (21 September 2009), people are getting restless. Some are unable to concentrate on

their works thinking about holidays. Where should i go? some place in Java, Bali or should i go to the other side of the world?

The transmigrants who came to the urban places like Jakarta begin to book their tickets home too. Most of the buses and train tickets are sold out. Crimes also starts with this peak season targeting those who travels by buses and trains.

I know i blab here and there….

the motto out of all this blabbing… plan your Lebaran holiday waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy before the big day. Don’t be trapped in all those chaos.

Here i am giving you the link for Java & Bali map in case some of you want to travel to those areas.

By the way, before i finish here… i want to announce once again to our clients who have overbooked our vehicles

Jakarta people are dedicated mall-goers

I understand how hectic Jakarta can be during the weekdays with all the traffic jams in every lil’ corner of Jakarta streets. Weekend however starts on this very night, Friday night. The streets especially near the major entertainment areas (ie. Sudirman, Thamrin, Senayan) will be super crowded with all the mall-goers and clubbers.

Jakarta is certainly a city which never sleeps on Friday.

As  you can see, Jakarta is soon gonna be filled with malls as the people seems to endlessly build shopping centers.  So it’s not a wonder if you find most of the Jakarta people spend their weekends in Malls.

Here are a list of malls if you wished to see the lavish the lifestyle of Jakartanians.

Central Jakarta

Grand Indonesia , Plaza  Indonesia and its extension , EX , Tanah Abang , Mal Ambasador

South Jakarta

Plaza Senayan ,FX ,Pacific Place ,Senayan City ,Blok M ,Pasaraya Grande, Pondok Indah Mal

West Jakarta

Taman Anggrek, Mal Ciputra , Mal Puri Indah

North Jakarta

Mal Kelapa Gading 1 – 5 , La Piazza , Mal Mangga Dua , ITC Mangga Dua (if you want to buy bulks of goods, you can get the best deal here)

In different malls you can actually see different types of people. They are so neatly segmented.

It is actually a very interesting things to do in the weekend: people watching.

Try it! just buy a cup of coffee or any beverage and seat in the corner where you can get great view of people passing by.

It’s a way to reflect and it’s a way to entertain yourself. Really! from all the hectic you’ve been thru during the weekdays.

DON’T forget that JAKARTA GREAT SALES is here!!!!
